Miette Range
Miette Range (83F)
The Miette Range lies to the northeast of the Lower Rocky River Valley. It is bounded to the northeast by the Athabasca River and continues southeast to Utopia Mountain.
Bonhomme Miette was a hunter who it is thought made the first ascent of Roche Miette, climbing it from its south side. A legendary figure in French Canadian folklore, he was said to be a gifted fiddler and storyteller.
