Goat Range

Goat Range (82J; 82O)

The Goat Range lies east of the Spray River. It follows the trend of Sulphur Mountain (which lies to the north-north west) from the point where the Spray River cuts across the north of Sulphur Mountain south to the Spray Lakes Reservoir.

The range was named by Captain John Palliser after numerous mountain goats were seen on the range.
