Popular Hike: Lakes Louise/Moraine/O'Hara
In late summer the mountain features a distinctive circular spot of snow on the slopes that are seen as one drives west from Castle Junction to Lake Louise. The "Haddo Snow Spot" remains large and quite prominent into mid-August. George, Lord Haddo was the eldest son of the Marquis of Aberdeen. Mount Aberdeen, eighty metres higher, is adjacent to Haddo Peak.
