Named for: Lemaster, Glen (Beginning in 1948, Glen Lemaster operated a logging operation at the base of this mountain.)

Mount Glenn, or possibly Mount Grainger, may be the peak noted as Mount Sabine on the Palliser Expedition's 1865 map and George Dawson's 1886 map of the Canadian Rockies. The peak currently known as Mount Sabine is located immediately north of the point where the Kootenay River enters the major valley just south of Columbia Lake.
