Named for: Cathedral Crags features isolated pinnacles and steep, colourful cliffs on their northwestern sides that overlook the Kicking Horse River and the Trans-Canada Highway near the Spiral Tunnels viewpoint.

Cathedral Crags are located to the northwest of the summit of Cathedral Mountain, near Kicking Horse Pass in the vicinity of the Spiral Tunnels Viewpoint. They feature a dark gray top and broad white stripe with the lower cliffs being quite reddish. The upper spiral tunnel of the CPR passes through the lower section of the mountain.
