Year Named: 1966
Named for: Soderholm, Samuel G. (Samuel Soderholm was serving with the Royal Air Force in Egypt when he was reported missing in action during WW II.)

A native of Kimberley, British Columbia, F/O Saumuel Gustav Soderholm was a 26 year old pilot with No. 14 Squadron of the Royal Air Force. He was declared killed in action after his Bristol Blenheim aircraft failed to return from an operation in Egypt on July 30, 1940.
