SENTINEL PASS (Banff)
This high notch between Mount Temple and Pinnacle Peak is the highest, heavily travelled trails in the Canadian Rockies. The pinnacles for which the pass is named are found on the northern side, below the cliffs of Pinnacle Peak. The highest is known as the _Grand Sentinel.î
Another Sentinel Pass lies at the headwaters of Pekisko Creek west of High River.
