Vermilion (AB) Range

Vermilion Range (Alta.) (82O)

Please note that there is another Vermilion Range in British Columbia (82N).

The Vermilion Range lies to the east of Forty Mile Creek, Sawback Creek, and the North Cascade River from the Red Deer River to the Bow Valley.

The Vermilion Lakes lie to the south of Mount Norquay which is at the southern end of the range and the range likely takes its name from the Lakes.
